When I first heard about ThemeForest and templates “starting at just $10″, I was a little sceptical about it. Author program and rates starting at 25% was a great downer. I thought “what a ripoff”., they keep 75% of each sale. 3-7$ per sale for work I would usually charge 500-2000$ wasn’t appealing at all. So, I decided not to participate, but I bookmarked it as potential work inspiration.
A welcome surprise
A couple weeks later I visited TF and was quite impressed. Quality of work was really good, marketing did a good job and TF was on the move.
I saw that some members use this service for self promotion and that was a great idea. Gave me an inspiration and I decided to try it. Result of that is now in front of you.
Quite a response
We get a lot of responses, questions and inquiries about our themes on daily basis. It started to take a lot of our time to give a proper support to all our users.
First, we thought about writing a couple of tutorials to show you how to enhance our themes to serve your needs. Response was excellent.
Idea was born
During my work on a new wordpress design, we started to talk about new tutorials and a common FAQ for all our themes. One thing let to another and we ended with a pretty long list of ideas and suggestions. Some of ideas would be great for Monty Python site, so we forwarded it to J.C. himself. Along with a person who suggested them
The rest of us decided to create a project to see those ideas coming to life.
We decided to release this project in it’s beta edition, so please have a little understanding for a “few bugs” still alive.
